Local resident Sheena Seebran will be hosting a ‘fund-raiser to fight cancer’ on Saturday (October 1) at The Square.

The fund-raiser will be in the form of a cupcake sale where she plans to sell over 1000 cupcakes at R5 each. 

The money collected will go towards the Cancer Association of South Africa (CanSA).

Sheena decided to put this project together in honour of her late friend, Renesha Somai. 

The sale will start at 09:00.

Aside from the cupcakes, there will be face-painting, the selling of pink cancer ribbons and much more.
