Basheer Abdool of Dannhauser Angling Club and friends managed to catch an impressive haul of carp while on a visit in Mpumalanga last week.
Although it was just a social outing at one of the private dams in the area, the trio went specimen fishing.
Basheer managed to catch a 9.2kg carp. Zakariya Vahed caught the heaviest carp of the day, weighing 11.7kg, while Inayaat Ahmed landed one weighing 10.9kg.
