Avanash Lakhan received the ‘Activist of the Year’ award

The Democratic Alliance Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality (ILM) Caucus and Uthukela Constituency would like to congratulate recently elected Uthukela Constituency member Avanash Lakhan on receiving the prestigious ‘Activist of the Year’ award.
He was presented with the award at the DA Provincial Conference held at the International Convention Centre in Durban over the weekend of April 29-30.
Avanash has gone above and beyond the call of duty as an activist and community leader to ensure that our community receives good service delivery and adequate feedback, timeously.
He has gained trust and respect in a working relationship with all relevant stakeholders at ILM and uThukela. His tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed within the community and with the Democratic Alliance.
