Search intensifies for missing toddler

The 19-month-old toddler was last seen by her mother on June 19

It’s been almost three weeks since Nhlalenhle Luthando Mhlongo disappeared from her home in Mkholombe, Weenen.

The 19-month-old toddler was last seen by her mother on June 19 at about 18:00.

“It is not clear exactly how she disappeared from her yard, as there was a traditional function taking place at the homestead on the day,” explained police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.

Nhlalenhle was wearing sandals and a white dress with pink detail at the time of her disappearance.

“We appeal to anyone with information concerning her whereabouts to contact Sergeant Janjies on 079 696 3747 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” added Khan.
