Nokuthula a step closer to Mrs South Africa crown

The highly-anticipated 2023 Dallmayr Mrs South Africa competition is well underway…

The programme announced its 2023 finalists at its first-ever semi-final showcase event on July 7 at the famous Theatre of Marcellus in Gauteng.

Out of a fiercely competitive field of 100 remarkable semi-finalists, the top 30 finalists secured their place among the nation’s most exceptional married women, including Estcourt’s own Nokuthula Maduma.

Nokuthula is big on women empowerment, which involves interacting with other women, facilitating mentorship and coaching programmes, and just admiring other women as they succeed and go up the ladder in different spheres.

“Since I joined Mrs South Africa, I have grown incredibly. “I have a strong desire to empower women; therefore I’m thrilled to be a finalist. By the time this journey is over, I know I’ll be a completely different person,” she shares.

Mrs South Africa is the country’s leading pageant for married women, offering participants a renowned self-development programme, as well as the opportunity to positively impact on their communities.

Through mentorship, leadership training, workshops, and personal development, the pageant empowers its contestants with the skills and tools necessary to effect meaningful societal change. The Grand Finale, where one finalist will be crowned as the new Dallmayr Mrs South Africa, will be held on November 17 this year.
