Communities set to benefit from Transnat mobile library

This is the tagline on the back of Transnat Coach Lines’ recently rebuilt and much-anticipated mobile library, which will be launched this week.

Wynand De Jager, Depot Manager, stated that the initiative’s goal is to deliver reading resources to communities who do not have them.

“We firmly believe in giving back to the community and spent countless hours brainstorming ways to do so until we settled on giving resources to those who do not have access to books and other reading material. About two months ago we bought an old mobile library bus on auction which we have restored and filled with reading books, magazines, and even old exam papers,” explained De Jager.
