Ladysmith underwater once again
Motorists are advised to avoid flooded areas and use alternate routes
Due to the heavy rainfall last night (January 8), the CBD area is completely flooded this morning.
Roads such as Lyell Street, Forbes Street, Princess Street, Alexandra Street, Illing Road, Queen Street and King Street are also flooded at this time and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Al-Imdaad Foundation members were out at 01:30 in the morning to rescue affected families.
Flood victims spent the night at the Indoor Sports Complex.
