Trucks crash into each other on the N3

Two trucks collided on the N3 highway between Midway and Wagendrift Dam this morning (June 28), leaving both drivers injured.

The accident happened at around 06:00. An official at the scene said that one of the trucks was transporting sheep meat, while the other had a load of bricks.

The official continued to explain that it looks like it was a side-on collision; one truck being damaged along its side and the other one badly damaged in the front.

Towing services were on scene and police controlled traffic flow.
