Happy Women’s Day

Keep shining, keep rising and keep making a difference

Today (August 9) we celebrate the strength, resilience and determination of women worldwide.

We honour the brave women who paved the way for us, like the 15,000 women who marched in New York City in 1908 demanding better pay, shorter hours and voting rights; and the 20,000 women who marched in Pretoria in 1956 against apartheid’s pass laws.

We recognise the progress made towards gender equality and the work still to be done. May this day be filled with love, respect and recognition of women’s worth.
