The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a Level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms in Northern KZN.

The warning includes Estcourt, Ladysmith, Dundee and surrounding areas.

The SAWS also issued a lightning and severe wind warning, with the possibility of hail as well in some areas.

Rainfall has been forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (October 20, 21 and 22).
