October 25: Fort Amiel, in aid of the Newcastle SPCA, will host a Nightmare Market and Movie and Spooky Museum Tour at Fort Amiel Museum from 18:00. Come dressed as your favourite Halloween character and enjoy good music, stalls, a spooky museum tour, face painting, and so much more. Entrance will cost R20 per adult and R10 for people under 18. • HPS Mandir to host Diwali Havan & Puja:

October 31: The HPS Mandir will host a Diwali Havan and Puja at 07:00 at the HPS temple.

November 16: Newcastle Organisations for the Aged (NOFTA) will celebrate a mesmerising Week of the Aged with dynamic live entertainment by Nikki and the Trio—Eastern and Western.
