Newcastle gospel sensation Richard Masemola sets his sights on SAGRA awards
Newcastle’s very own Richard Masemola was nominated in the Best Gospel Jazz Project category and needs the help of his home town to help him bag this prestigious award next month.
For the past 30 years, Pastor Richard Masemola (56) has been making waves in the music industry.

His passion and love for music have allowed him to work alongside some of the best gospel names in the country, and he has even afforded him the opportunity to perform in London, England.
Now he is set to take on one of the biggest challenges of his career as he gets ready to dominate the third annual South African Gospel Recognition Awards (SAGRA) on November 16 at the Guild Theatre in East London.
The SAGRA awards, which are hosted annually, aim to acknowledge deserving gospel artists in their respective fields, helping them to add to the accolades of success.
This year, Newcastle’s very own Richard Masemola was nominated in the Best Gospel Jazz Project category and needs the help of his home town to help him bag this prestigious award next month.
