Majuba TVET successfully hosts Award Ceremony.

The Partnerships and Linkages Award Ceremony is an event dedicated to honoring outstanding collaborations that bridge the gap between SETA’s, industries and communities.

The Partnerships and Linkages Unit under the leadership of Assistant Director, Mr. Deepak Mohan hosted an awards ceremony for all SETA’s, Government Entities and Private Entities, held at the Blue Ridge Crystal, Newcastle.

This prestigious gathering recognises organisations, institutions and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional efforts in fostering strategic partnerships with the college that drive mutual growth, innovation, and positive impact.

Welcoming the guests, the College Principal, Mr. S. J Mlotshwa said, “Majuba TVET College is indeed proud to have partnered with you, the esteemed sectors of the economy to promote skills development and workplace based learning. At the college we pride ourselves at the commitment to producing skilled, work- ready graduates who can contribute meaningfully to the workforce, this vision however, would not be possible without the incredible support and collaboration of our SETA’s, National Skills Fund, industry partners and other important stakeholders present here today.”

The Deputy Principal- Innovations and Development, Mr. Patrick Ntshangase gave the purpose of the day, also introducing and praising the Partnerships and Linkages Team for all their hard work. “The purpose of this ceremony is to honour the bonds we’ve built and to recognise the collective efforts that has brought us to this point. This is not just a celebration of what we’ve accomplished, but a reminder of the greater impact we can make when we work hand in hand. I would also like to applaud my team for their continued tireless efforts to better the lives of our students,” elaborated Mr. Ntshangase.

Mrs. Zandile Khumalo (Acting Regional Manager: DHET) was the Keynote Speaker. As the ceremony wrapped up, attendees were reminded that the work of building successful partnerships is far from over. As the night ended, the spirit of partnership lingered in the air, and attendees departed with renewed dedication to fostering connections that will shape a batter future for all.
