Public Safety gears up for festive season

The Department of Transport will be out and about to ensure that motorists arrive alive at their destinations

With the festive season around the corner, Public Safety have started with road safety campaigns in town.

Officials held a roadblock in Hyde Road this morning (November 28).

The officers inspected vehicles to see if they were roadworthy. They also checked drivers licences and whether motorists had any outstanding traffic warrants, etc.

More initiatives of this nature are expected to ensure that motorists comply with the rules of the road during this festive season.
