The body of a 43-year-old man was recovered last week in Paulpietersburg. Instrumental in the recovery operation was four-legged Vryheid K9 Search & Rescue member ‘Achil’. Empangeni Search & Rescue, together with Vryheid K9 Search & Rescue, were alerted about a drowning and went in search of the body. Sniffer dog ‘Achil’ pinpointed the exact area and divers found the body submerged about six metres underwater.
