The ANC recently held a back-to-school programme in Wembezi, where full school uniforms were handed over to 80 learners from different schools. A function was held at the Wembezi Multipurpose Hall.

The handover was attended by KZN ANC Provincial Task Team member and former KZN Education MEC Mbali Frazer, as well as Cllr Mondli Madinane.

Having received their uniforms, the learners were advised to focus on their studies.

10 uniforms per school were donated, namely to Bhekudi High School, EMahhashini Primary School, ⁠Wembezi High School, Muntuza Primary School, ⁠Zola Primary School, Drakensberg Comprehensive High School, Inkanyiso Primary School and ⁠Zamukuthula Primary School.
