Car fire sparks swift emergency response

A vehicle caught fire at the Kirkland and Centre Streets intersection on Monday morning, prompting a swift emergency response. Fortunately no one was harmed. Read more here:

Emergency responders were called out early this morning (Monday, September 29) after a vehicle caught fire at the busy intersection of Kirkland and Centre Streets.

On-scene officials confirmed the blaze broke out shortly after 07:00.

A Opel Corsa caught fire along Kirkland Street earlier this morning.

Firefighters quickly contained the flames, preventing further damage or injury.

The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
