Hearts unite as Cancervive Walk celebrates life and hope
Participants walked, shared, and celebrated life at the Cancervive Awareness Walk held at Grey Goose Game Lodge.
Grey Goose Game Lodge was ‘painted pink’ this past weekend as it hosted the annual Cancervive Awareness Walk on Sunday morning (13 October).
The walk formed part of the 13th Cancervive Flagship Ride, which is taking the organisation through the green pastures and mountains of KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga this year.

The aim of the event was to raise awareness about cancer, celebrate life and unite people around a cause that touches everyone.
The morning began with a scenic fun walk through the lodge’s grounds down to the caves, where participants honoured cancer survivors, those bravely fighting, and those who have sadly lost their battle.
This was followed by a delicious buffet-style breakfast and an inspiring Edu-show and cancer awareness session, where survivors shared their stories and helped shed more light on the topic.
