Get ready to mingle at the marvellous market

There will be something for everyone!

The much-anticipated ‘Mingle and Marvel Market’ takes place this Saturday (November 8) from 09:00 to 13:00, both at Juana Maria Frail Aged Home and across the street at the bookshop.

This wonderful community event promises something for everyone – from delicious eats and treats to homemade treasures and festive finds that are perfect for early Christmas shopping.

Highlights to look forward to:

White elephant stall: Discover unique finds like photo frames, gift wrap, and handmade treasures.

Tea garden: Enjoy refreshments and sweet treats. Love baking? Donations of homemade goodies are welcome!

Christmas table: Visit the bookshop’s verandah for Christmas cards, gift bags, CDs and books, hosted by Richard and Marilyn Nash along with Ken and Glynis Saunders.

Christmas raffle: For just R10 a ticket, stand a chance to win one of two handcrafted Round Drawstring Bags that transform into adorable baby cots – lovingly made by a talented knitting and crochet member. The draw takes place at 12 noon.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a day filled with creativity, Christmas cheer and community connection – all while supporting a wonderful cause.
