Municipal road safety awareness campaign ahead of festive season

The initiative formed part of the national Transport Month programme that promotes safer roads across South Africa.

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality (ILM) held a road safety awareness campaign on Tuesday last week (October 28) along the Ntabamhlophe road at the Sharpman and Ennersdale intersection.

In partnership with the Department of Transport, SAPS, Home Affairs and the Traffic Department, a roadblock was set up that focused on driver responsibilities, avoiding overloading, and ensuring vehicle fitness.
