Mayor inspects road tarring project

The municipality has given its assurance that it will continue repairing roads and fixing potholes

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality Mayor Mduduzi Myeza visited the Esgodlweni area, also known as Rensburg, to check on the progress of a tarring project that is being carried out.

Myeza was accompanied by Deputy Mayor Cllr S Dladla and General Manager of Public Works Mr N Ndlovu.

According to the municipality, work is almost completed on the section of road from the Apostolic Revival Church to Kings & Queens Crèche at Esgodlweni, where new tar and proper drainage systems have been installed.

This follows additional road maintenance in Wembezi, including the patching of potholes that have long caused challenges for motorists and pedestrians alike.
