Two arrested as Dundee SAPS clamp down on drug possession

Police arrest two men in Dundee after seizing ammunition and suspected illegal drugs.

Two men were arrested in Colley Street, Dundee, this week after they were allegedly found in possession of ammunition and capsules suspected to be illegal drugs.

Crime Prevention Unit acts in central business district

According to South African Police Service spokesperson Sergeant Siyabonga Nkwanyana, the arrests were made by members of the Dundee Crime Prevention Unit during search operations in the town’s central business district.

The suspects, aged 30 and 33, were detained at Dundee Police Station. Police confirmed that one of the men is a foreign national.

Investigations are continuing.
