Market, bowls and dancing for fur kids
PAWS hosted a charity event at Newcastle Bowling Club, with music, prizes and community involvement.
Ice cream, food, bowls and dancing made for a successful PAWS charity event at Newcastle Bowling Club, Arbor Park, on Saturday, February 28.

Entertainment
Jaco Strydom, a musician from Newcastle, ensured that the crowd was entertained with live music.
Prizes were awarded to the best bowls teams, with items being auctioned in support of PAWS.
In celebration of the ‘fur babies’ that PAWS gives a voice to, the four-legged residents of Newcastle got lots of goodies sponsored by Pet Centre.

The cause
Alet Oberholzer, who heads PAWS, thanked Newcastle Bowling Club for opening their facility, as well as everyone who came out to make the day a success.
“What we do at PAWS is for the love of the fur kids. We are doing it to assist all in need and because the fur kids do not have a voice; therefore, we are their voice.”
Congratulations to top 5 bowls teams:
1st Place

3rd Place

4th Place

All in all, a really successful event!
