The AbaQulusi Local Municipality said its Water Team is attending to the leak, which has temporarily interrupted the water supply to Vryheid Town, Sasko, Lakeside, Kwattas and Bhekuzulu.

Repairs under way

According to the municipality, repairs are expected to take approximately six hours, although this may change depending on the extent of the damage and the progress of the repair work.

The municipality apologised for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience while repairs are under way.
