Community outreach strengthens support for Vryheid children

Mthashana TVET College and partners concluded their Mandela Day campaign by supporting children at Shoba crèche.

Last Wednesday marked the successful conclusion of the Mandela Day Izandla Ziyagezana Campaign, as Mthashana TVET College partnered with various stakeholders to host the final outreach programme at Qalimfundo Crèche in Shoba.

The initiative was supported by Princess Mkabayi Mall, Bluemoon Restaurant and Build It, with the aim of giving back to the community and making a positive difference in the lives of young children.

Partnership promotes community support

Mthashana TVET College representative Siyabonga Mbhele said the campaign showed the true spirit of Nelson Mandela as it brought together organisations committed to serving their communities.

“The campaign demonstrated the true spirit of Nelson Mandela by bringing together organisations committed to making a positive and lasting impact in our communities.

“Through our collective efforts, we were able to support and uplift young children while promoting the values of compassion, service and Ubuntu.
