Msinga woman arrested over DJ Warras murder

Police have arrested a 40-year-old woman in Msinga in connection with the murder of DJ Warras in Gauteng last year.

A 40-year-old woman wanted in connection with the murder of DJ Warras in Gauteng in December 2025 has been arrested in the Msinga area of the Umzinyathi District.

According to KwaZulu-Natal SAPS spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda, detectives and Visible Policing members received information on Wednesday afternoon that the woman was hiding in the Msinga area.

Police followed up on the information and traced the suspect to a homestead in the Ngcengeni area.

“The suspect was arrested and will be handed over to police in Gauteng for further handling,” said Netshiunda.

The woman was wanted for alleged conspiracy to commit murder and murder of the popular Vryheid-born DJ.

The suspect allegedly forwarded DJ Warras’s car particulars and that of the DJ’s partner to murder co-accused Victor Majola.

The woman is expected to be taken to Gauteng, where the investigation into the murder will continue.
