Revised November Sassa payout dates

Here are the new November SASSA payout dates:

Sassa (South African Social Security Agency) has revised its payout dates for the November social grants payouts due to the local government elections, taking place on November 4.

According to a statement relesed by Sassa, the revised schedule followed extensive consultations between Sassa and various stakeholders to ensure that social grant payments continued to be administered efficiently, securely, and with minimal disruption during this election period.

“Following these engagements, National Treasuury approved the revised payment dates, paving the way for implementation of the new schedule,” they said.

Sassa further reminded beneficiaries whose grants were under review to respond to official communication from the agency and to attend review appointments when requested.

“The fourth-day payment on November 5 is specifically intended for beneficiaries whose grants fall within the review process,” it said.

Useful tips to remember:

  • If a payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, Sassa moves it to the next business day.
  • Make sure your bank details are correct and active.
  • If you have not received payment within two to three business days of your expected date, call 0800 60 10 11 or visit your nearest Sassa office.
  • Avoid long queues by collecting after the official date; your funds will still be available.
