Tugela rugby boys attend LSEN Craven Week

Nine players from the school were selected to play by the Sharks Rugby Union.

During the July school holidays, the Sharks Rugby Union sent 21 boys from across KwaZulu-Natal to participate in the LSEN Craven Week, hosted in George in the Western Cape.

Head coach, Wico Goosen and assistant coaches, Ettienne van Aswegen and Michael Hayes (Huttenpark Primary School) represented their province, along with nine boys from Tugela Pre-Vocational School.

Unfortunately, none of them returned with any trophies. However, the players left as young boys and returned as passionate and dedicated rugby players committed to the game.

Well done! We are so proud of you,” said Principal of Tugela Pre-Vocational, Riaan du Plessis.
