Community celebrates and gives back at colour run
Hippo-Campus Academy’s Colour Run united families and the community in a fun-filled day to support the SPCA and the Crisis Centre.
Hippo-Campus Academy proudly hosted its flagship Colour Run event at the Paradise Sports Grounds on Saturday, September 27.
It brought together learners, parents, and community members for a day filled with fun, laughter, and giving back.
The event featured an array of activities, from the Colour Run itself to talent shows, fun games, and stalls.
Most importantly, it was a community effort dedicated to supporting two very worthy causes:
- Newcastle SPCA and
- NewcastleCrisis Centre.
Angela Khan, headmistress of Hippo-Campus Academy, expressed her gratitude for the success of the event. “We thank our sponsors, vendors, parents, learners, participants and community supporters who contributed towards this initiative.”
“Hippo-Campus Academy looks forward to hosting more flagship events,” Mrs Khan enthused.
