Quick and easy home-made burger and chips

Serves 4:
Ingredients
Burgers:
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 finely chopped onion
- BBQ spice and other spices of your choice
- Salt and pepper
- 4 bun shaped bread rolls
- Tomato sauce/ Mayo or Chutney
- Cheese slices
Chips:
- 6 potatoes
- Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
The chips:
- Peel and cut potatoes to your liking
- Rinse and dry them.
- Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy
- Sprinkle with salt and seasoning of your choice.
The burgers:
- Mix the mince, onion, spices, salt and pepper together
- Shape into four decent sized burger patties
- Fry in a hot pan for about 5 minutes on each side until cooked
- Put your patties onthe buns, add your sauce and cheese slices and enjoy!
Additional add-ons:
You can add slices of tomato, lettuce and even gherkins if you have any left over in your fridge.
