My beef this week is with taxi drivers.
They are arrogant, always in a hurry and bossy.
There have been so many times when a taxi driver has cut me off and I’ve seen them bend plenty of road rules.
Just this morning (Monday) a white taxi packed with school children zipped through a red robot, defiantly ignoring the hoots from other drivers, whose right of way it was.
I think it is about time that the traffic cops make their presence felt in the taxi ranks around town.
This would hopefully deter some careless taxi drivers from attempting unsafe and daring stunts.
They are endangering the lives of not only their passengers and themselves but other road users as well and it seems as if they couldn’t care less.
Perhaps someone from the taxi association is reading this and would be kind enough to suggest a brush up on driving and courtesy skills for all taxi drivers.
