Community ask the Mayor about overgrown parks and speeding

Mr Mayor hav u spent all the councils money overseas ? The parks & open spaces in Hutton Heights are so over grown we cant take children 2 play & will soon need game rangers 2 take us through veld 2 PnP. G D.

No, actually I could not fit all into my luggage!! We are trying our best to keep to grass cutting cycles with high rainfall. Personally I think we are better than last year.

Sir who pays for the mayors speeding speeding fines? and what gives his drivers the right to speed. I was traveling back from Pietermaritzburg and NN 1 came flying past me in a 100km/h zone. could never see the car again as he was clearly going like 140 or even more.

Have you considered that maybe you just have a slow car? I’m not certain if you can judge the speed of a car passing you.

NN MAYOR, Mr Mayor, thank u very much for the great work u have done in NN. I appreciate it, i just hope that the ppl of NN appreciate it b4 it’s too late. To the ppl of NN, the past years we had many mayors come in power, n ran this town the way they wantd, with nothing done, but got paid the mayors salary. Many has come n gone, but nobody complained. Now we have a mayor who is working towards making our town worth living in. Every day we c progress in our town. Our mayor responds to yr sms’s n letters, go to shows in this town n interact with the ppl, we never had that b4. Yet it’s still not enought. We complaine for pety little things, n he still gets the job done.The more he do for us the more we want. Well it seems like the ppl of NN, appreciated all the other mayors who came in to office, sat there ate y’ll money, did nothing in this town n left. So ppl of NN wake up! The day we don’t have him as our mayor n our town starts going down the drain, that the day we will say, Afzul Rehman was the best mayor we had. Thank u, NN Resident.

Dear Mayor,Im more concern abt pruning of trees HendrikPortgieter str.n plz b given opportunity for municipality to take out trees that some of us as residents feel not safe n disturbing our palisade even house too s the root growing.Tnx gud wrk rendered so far,keep it up.
