The members of the Restore Order Committee (ROC) would like to thank the community for their continuous support.
We want to stress the point that we are not politically motivated, our only objective is to ensure that services are delivered to the community in a sustainable manner.
Service delivery should not be debatable, as it is constituted by government to be implemented by local government.
What is considered by a leader as “petty” issues are threatening the levels of employment into deterioration, which leads to suppressing the economy of our town.
Let it be known that two of our known contributors of employment in our town are threatening to leave Estcourt, which will have a disastrous effect.
Thus, also affecting the programme of food security in our country.
All this is due to the high level of commercial rates in our town.
In a public meeting the Mayor stated that more than R200 million is in the process of being invested in Ward four, namely the prison and taxi rank.
This was in response to a question asked pertaining to service delivery in Ward four.
To our knowledge and public knowledge it is known that the Correctional Services Department is revamping the prison and the Transport Department is revamping the taxi rank.

Government constitutes street committees.
ROC is not a vigilante group as stated in a council meeting on February 26 by Mayor Bongani Dlamini. ROC continues to grow.
