Talana Live impresses visitors

Sir,
My family and I would like to thank you for organising such a wonderful event – the Talana Live weekend. I can assure you that we enjoyed every minute.
I brought my wife, our niece and her 9-year-old son, who inspected every item in the museum and was enthralled with each talk, especially the surgeon’s description of how amputations were done during the war! We would also like to thank all the Diehards and the ‘Boers’ for putting on an impressive re-enactment of the battle, as well as all the other volunteers and stall-holders who took part. It is a great advert for Dundee, and, hopefully, the word will spread and even more people will support these amazing efforts.
