Madam – Senzo and Kelly last sordid truth.

I get irritation on my skin hearing people on street corners, buses and seeing on social networking sites crucifying Kelly Khumalo about Senzo Meyiwa’s death. Most people are calling Kelly a home wrecker, an intruder and gold digger because she claimed she did not know the father of her second child, Senzo Meyiwa, was married to another woman.

The Kelly Khumalo and Senzo Meyiwa’a tragic story should be a learning curve for most people. More often than not, we get into situations with people without knowing their history. We take things on face value and we do not bother going beyond the silver lining, and investigate their true life story. We only discover their true-selves when tragedy hits home; just like in Senzo and Kelly’s episode.

Hence, everything we know regarding the love triangle Senzo was tangled in, we know it through the media and journalists write stories that would sell newspapers, therefore, making it harder to know for certain what really transpired between Senzo and Kelly.

However, one can still learn from what emerged between Kelly and Senzo. A philosopher once said “a wise man learns from his mistakes, but a wiser man learns from the mistakes of others”. Experience is a harsh teacher.

Let’s take the good from any situation and apply it onto our own lives and stop judging.
