‘ANC’s descent in Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland’

Recently South Africans witnessed the ANC’s descent into Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland – a world where anyone can dream up the impossible.
During the party’s National Executive Council, Secretary-General Gwede Mantashe produced two blatantly contradictory statements – that the ANC simultaneously has confidence in both the President and the Minister of Finance.
It is common knowledge that these two men head different factions within the ANC which are locked in an existential conflict.
It is time that the ANC stopped taking the people of South Africa for fools. It is time that the ANC put the people of South African first and stopped protecting a select few.
The first step in doing so would be to recall the President and terminate all contracts entered into with the Gupta family.
