Help to old age and disabled at banks

Why can't other businesses look after the clients and be so helpful and friendly to disabled and old people?

Madam – Help to old age and disabled at banks.

A couple of days ago I had to go to Absa at the CBD for various reasons.

You get there and they give you a card with a number and tell you to sit and wait until they call your number. I am semi-disabled and walk with an aid. After about a half an hour I just walked out of the bank because just about every bone and muscle in my body was sore. I cannot sit or stand a long time.

On Friday I tried my luck at Newcastle Mall Absa bank. Inside the bank was a queue of about 20 or more people in front of me.

I was devastated but within five minutes a guy came up to me with the words: “We look after our old and disabled clients, please come with me.”

He took me to a counter at the end of the room and in a very short while I was attended to by a most friendly lady. I could not believe it.

Why can’t other businesses look after the clients and be so helpful and friendly to disabled and old people? One day they will also get there.
