Madam – Is blood really thicker than water?
It made me wonder since my brother left the house to get married. In the beginning we adored his girlfriend then she became his fiancée and then all hell broke loose. He was no longer allowed to see is own mother.
Our mother had to make an appointment to see her own son. How nasty can a daughter-in-law become? Then when they got married, guess who where more in their photos? His parents-in-law!
How can a brother become such a stranger? Sisters who loves him dearly are not just pushed aside, but out of his life. When our mom just popped in at our brother’s place of employment, he didn’t even gave her a happy glance; he didn’t even greet our mom.
How can a child break his own mother’s heart by not recognising his own mother as the woman who brought him into this world?
A mother who gave him the best of everything and loved him dearly and still do, even though he doesn’t recognize her as that. A grandchild was born and even the grandchild is being kept away from his grandmother. Why must you make an appointment to see your own son and grandson?
How selfish can a person be?
It will be such a heartbreak when you realise you’ve lost your own blood family by allowing your partner to turn your life upside down. But don’t worry brother, when our mother passes away, don’t think you will be welcome at the funeral; I will make sure of it!
Don’t even come to pay your respects, for you didn’t while she was alive!
A mother’s love is unconditional and forever. A child’s love ends when they leave the house to marry his wife. With Mother’s Day around the corner, will you show your respects, not just to the woman who gave you children, but to the one who gave birth to you?
