Through the medium of your newspaper, I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the hard work done by the night shift street cleaners.

This team of men and women must be congratulated on the excellent work that they do. They have to brave the dark nights, cold as well as elements of danger to keep our streets clean, and they are doing a magnificent job.

Our town looks like a totally different place in the evenings. It would be great if the dayshift workers could follow this example.
