Experience to never to be forgotten at Osizweni clinic

"Allow me to say a few words about the treatment I received at the Clinic" - Reader

Allow me to say a few words about the treatment I received on May 10 at oSizweni Clinic 2.

I visited the clinic due to severe pain on my back tooth. I wanted to have it taken out.

As I entered the operating room, I was warmly welcomed by friendly smiles from both Dr Mtetwa and Dr Khumalo.

I must confess, when I saw Dr Mtetwa’s height and her tiny body structure I had doubts about her competency. Nevertheless, she examined my mouth and my tooth that was painful and she advised me that the best treatment was to extract the tooth.

I was asked to relax by Dr Mtetwa as she injected me on both inside and outside of the affected tooth. I was made to wait for about 15 minutes while the area around the tooth was becoming numb. As we waited with other patients, they verified the young doctor’s competence, saying she is very good.

I was called in after 15 minutes by Dr Khumalo and Dr Mtetwa. Still they were cool, relaxed and allowed me to lie down on the chair.

As I was lying there, the young doctor approached me with the instrument in her hand. I just closed my eyes and waited for the pain. In no time I heard them say, “Here’s your tooth. We are done.”

Throughout the whole treatment I didn’t feel any pain; that to me was PROFESSIONAL.

Thank you Dr Mtetwa and Dr Khumalo, for giving us such quality, royal treatment in the public sector.
