Animals awaken our soul

If you don’t want to love and take care of an animal, simply don’t get one!

Editor – I’m disgusted at the number of animal abuse stories that are surfacing lately.

Dogs tied up, starved, sick and neglected. What kind of world are we living in where things like this are tolerated?

In my opinion, if you are capable of abusing an animal, you are definitely capable of abusing a child or any other person. How can you look into their eyes and not see that they are living creatures who feel?

I just think it’s inhumane.

People tie up their dogs all the time. Why did you even have a dog if you want to tie it up?

If you don’t want to love and take care of an animal, simply don’t get one!

And if you do get an animal, have the animal “fixed”. This way, you take care of them and you also take care not to overpopulate the town with unwanted pets.

Come on, people, let’s take responsibility.

I agree with a quote from Anatole France that says: “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
