Say a prayer for the exams

Cold meats and fruits can also work well.

Editor – Since it is ‘Child Protection Week’, I thought it would be fitting for us to keep our children and the upcoming exams in our prayers. Sometimes we forget what an important role good nutrition plays in their development. Please remember to never send your children to school without giving them a balanced breakfast. Especially during exam times.

And if a cooked breakfast is impossible, why not give them some muesli, yoghurt and honey.

Most of all, create a calm environment at home – a place where your children can feel relaxed and safe. And remember how important a good night’s rest is. Most people need eight hours sleep.

Godspeed to all our schoolchildren. Especially those who are about to write mid-year matric exams. All the best to you and may your results reflect your knowledge.
