Yapping dogs drive away Christmas cheer

Every year, there is always one person who goes away on holiday and leaves their canine friends behind. While I understand you cannot always take your pet with you on holiday, but some thought should be given to them before you go on holiday.

Madam – As the holiday season kicks in, I dread the impending noise levels coming from my neighbour’s dogs, as I am sure others are as well.

Every year, there is always one person who goes away on holiday and leaves their canine friends behind. While I understand you cannot always take your pet with you on holiday, but some thought should be given to them before you go on holiday.

There is always one small dog and one big dog who yap all night long, leaving you enduring a sleepless night and a the owners of the two monsters sleep tightly, after all they are not even in town.

Instead of just getting a friend to feed your dogs, try to get someone to house sit for you so that they can ensure your dogs do not make a noise and keep the streets awake. If you can’t get a housesitter, try to see if you can board your dogs somewhere.

After all, why must the entire neighbourhood endure a week of sleepless nights just because you went on holiday? Why must your dogs burden the rest of us, it isn’t as if they are our pets?

Please people, if you go away, put a muzzle on your dog.
