Sir
Seeing how Dundee people behave, or rather, misbehave at traffic circles, I thought this might interest you.
When I was in Norway in May, we did a trip along the Hardanger Fjord, which is 120 km long. Our entire trip was about 400 km, and half of it was in tunnels.
We entered one tunnel which was 7.7 km long.
Half way into the tunnel, there was a traffic circle. When we left the tunnel, we drove straight onto a bridge, which was 1.4 km long:
We came off the bridge, straight into another tunnel that was 6.5 km long, with another traffic circle. Driving through these long tunnels is rather like driving along a well-lit street at night.
Happy driving!
Helen Stevens
