Madam – The reason why we don’t write in pencil.
When beginning school, we are given a pencil to practice how to write so that we can erase our mistakes but once we get to know the ins and outs, the pencil gets taken away. Why? So that we can see our mistakes but not get the chance to erase or correct them?
We live our lives in pen, we learn and write our life’s story as we go, not getting the chance to redo anything. A sign that it once was, a reminder to learn from the mistakes and remember not to make the same mistakes twice.
But sometimes we can’t help but write it over in every single colour there is. A rainbow, but when you run out of ink and you look back, the rainbow seems anything but colourful. A sign to live in the moment, see the positive in any given situation, the dark times clearly visible where the black ink filled the pages.

Maybe it’s time to return to the days of the pencil, where we learn the true values of life, where we get the chance to practice love, affection, joy, happiness and learn how to use these qualities and feelings in life, to be a difference in those around you’s life.
To leave the rainbow tailing behind you as you enter and leave someone’s life. Be the pencil in the world, teach those who has forgotten the true values of life and happiness that it is not too late
to turn back to the pencil.
