LETTER: ‘Until we meet again’

To all of you wonderful people of Glencoe, Dundee and Uelzen, I will miss all of you

Sir
Before I leave this wonderful area, I have decided to write an ‘Auf Weidersehen’ letter and not a ‘goodbye’ letter.

I am shortly relocating to Meyerton in Gauteng after spending my whole married life teaching in this area. I could not ‘just all of a sudden disappear’!

I have met so many wonderful colleagues, made so many new friends, met so many parents and taught so many children.
I just want to thank each and every one of you for the wonderful memories that will stay with me always.
It is the most rewarding news when you hear that some of your ex-pupils have achieved.

Meeting old scholars that are so happy to see you – that’s what makes teaching so amazing.
Thank goodness for the memories.

To all of you wonderful people of Glencoe, Dundee and Uelzen, I will miss all of you. I know it is now time to move on. Everything of the best to all of you.
God bless. All my love.
