Madam – Do you live your life in a straight line like a ruler?
A ruler can only draw straight lines. Yes, we need to walk that straight line some time or another in our life, (especially when the cops pull you over) but birds don’t just fly, they fall and get up. And so it is also impossible to walk in a straight line from the get go.
We learn, we take a curve and a bend here and there until we find our balance to keep steady on the white line. All paths aren’t straight, here and there we find we’ve taken the wrong turn, but that is life.
The road ahead won’t be curvy forever. It might feel like a rollercoaster with all the curves and bends on life’s journey but just like the sea, high tide does not last forever. The storm will calm and it too shall pass.
Ride that rollercoaster, enjoy it, fear it, love it, but nonetheless, live it.
