Editor – I have a huge problem with my neighbour.
I have gone through many channels to resolve this matter, which has been ignored since 2010.
I have been violated by my neighbour in my own yard; he has inserted a water pipe in his home that discharges water in my yard. I have been through various channels to resolve this matter.
I have been to the local councillor more than five times.
He requested that I should lay charges against my neighbour, therefore I did. I was encouraged by the SAPS of Ezakheni (Ladysmith) to forward this matter to the magistrate’s court.
The magistrate said I should go back to the police, and the police then asserted that I go back to the councillor.
The councillor then sent me to the local municipality.
uThukela informed me that they could be of no assistance since the pipe installed is not theirs.
