What happened to the driver?

Making a noise about an incident will not bring the deceased back, but justice has to be served

Editor – The article on the front page of the Ladysmith Gazette dated Friday, September 8, seems to be a one-sided story.

What happened to the driver of the Land Rover who tragically killed or should I say murdered five people on Monday, September 4? There was no mention about him in the media or how he was taken away, whether by police or by ambulance.

Or did he just disappear into thin air? Nor does it say if he was arrested or not.

So if a person has a label (doctor, lawyer, etc) in front of his or her name, that means he or she can get away with murder.

The media will not report it and the traffic cops / police will just keep quiet about it.

What’s with this town and its lawlessness?

To the families who lost their dear and loved ones, I do apologise for bringing this up again.

What has happened to the justice system in this country? Why is there such favouritism towards the rich?

Making a noise about an incident will not bring the deceased back, but justice has to be served for the one that got away.
