Sir
The Dundee Hindu Temple Kavady Festival 2018 has been a resounding success with devotees from Dundee, surrounding areas and as far as Johannesburg and Durban gracing the function. The function is only complete when the people responsible for the success of the Kavady festival have been thanked. On behalf of the Dundee Hindu Temple, I wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to all persons, young and old, who have so willingly and generously contributed to our Kavady festival held from January 26 to February 4. We also want to thank all the hard workers who selflessly availed themselves to assist in this massive undertaking. We also want to thank Northern Natal Courier for the media coverage given to us. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Endumeni Municipality for their support and assistance for cleaning and general maintenance of the roads and pavements around the vicinity of the temple and along the Kavady procession route.
